Carlton Celebrates Songkran with 4 Hands Dining Experience - TRAVELINDEXBangkok, Thailand, March 17, 2021 / TRAVELINDEX / Carlton Hotel Bangkok Sukhumvit celebrates the upcoming Songkran Festival with two distinctive collaborations with Thai Chef Wuttisak Wuttiamporn from Phuket.

For one night only on 1 April, Chef Wuttisak teams up with Supharat, our award-winning resident mixologist. Expect a unique experience where innovative tapas meets craft cocktails in a union under a starry Bangkok evening.

Priced at THB 1,490++ per person, the Tapas in the Sky event starts from 6:00 pm at Cooling Tower Rooftop Bar. The three pairing cocktails are: a gin-based XV Century Ayutthaya, a rum-based Passionate Peruvian and a Siamese Storm made with rosemary butter washed cognac. One of these cocktails has a complex recipe with preparation taking up to two days and it pairs perfectly with the Foie Gras Mousse (one of the three tapas dishes).

On 2 and 3 April, from 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm, Chef Wuttisak also performs an Exclusive Four Hands Dining Experience with our Executive Chef, Kan Bright San. This is our first Four Hands Dinner highlighting Progressive Thai & New Asian Cuisine at Carlton Club Lounge.

Our guest chef is a Phuket native with over a decade in Executive Chef positions, he realized that cooking is also an art. Chef Wuttisak is a “Thai Progressive Chef and Designer” who creates an enjoyable and unsurpassed dining experience.Carlton’s Head Chef Kan Bright San brings with him a wealth of experience in Straits cuisine and beyond. Chef Bright is originally from Malaysia and his chef adventures have taken him very far. His culinary creativity and philosophy focus on flavor, precise cooking and simplicity.

Among the stars of this 4 Hands Degustation Menu look forward to a traditional chicken rice dish prepared by Chef Kan Bright San, plated by Chef Wuttisak incorporating a tropical paradise featuring all ingredients full of color.
