Supanniga Group Launches Sood Kua, Delivering Casual Street Food
Bangkok (Thailand) – January 16, 2020 (travelindex.com) – Supanniga Group is delighted to announce Sood Kua, a delivery service offering a selection of Supanniga-style dishes centering on crab roe with roasted salt and chili mix (kua prik gluer). A play on the word “kua” which has a dual meaning of ‘maximum’ and ‘roasted’, Sood Kua delivers the great taste of roasted ingredients.
In true Supanniga fashion, Sood Kua’s menu revolves around roasted salt and chili mix commonly found in Trad province in the east of Thailand. The dishes are inspired by Khun Yai Somsri Chantra’s recipes and are rarely found in restaurants nowadays.
Despite having the same name, Sood Kua’s salt and chili mix is different from Chinese-style salt and chili mixes as well as mixes from other regions in Thailand. It is a distinctive mixture of Himalayan salt and bird’s eye chili with garlic, lime and a little pinch of sugar. The mixture is roasted in a flaming hot wok with a protein of choice.
Sood Kua introduces four dishes which are crab roe, minced shrimp, minced pork and a combination of all. All are served on top of steamed organic jasmine rice from farmers in Muangpon, Khon Kaen and as fried rice, with options of fried or boiled duck egg. It’s one-of-a-kind, ready-to-eat dish that flawlessly reflects Supanniga’s character.
Four selections of Sood Kua’s menu are:
– Crab roe with Trad-style roasted salt and chili mix fried rice or on rice (185 baht)
– Minced shrimp with Trad-style roasted salt and chili mix fried rice or on rice (185 baht)
– Minced pork with Trad-style roasted salt and chili mix fried rice or on rice (105 baht)
– Combination of crab roe, minced shrimp, and minced pork with Trad-style roasted salt and chili mix fried rice or on rice (145) The prices include a fried or boiled duck egg.
These scrumptious delicacies from Trad will be delivered to your doorstep – be it at home, at work or any other location within Bangkok – in environmentally conscious packaging that perfectly preserves taste and temperature. Sood Kua also offers a special discount for customers who opt to reduce waste by requesting not to receive disposable utensils and tissue papers.
Sood Kua is now available for order through Line@supannigagroup, Supanniga’s call center, LineMan and Grab Food.
